The hot-melt technology used offers maximum environmental friendliness and compatibility compared to conventional concepts such as solvent-based or water-based coating systems. It requires no exhaust air or liquor post-treatment, such as the highly complex and costly thermal afterburning of emissions that arises when processing organic solvents. Furthermore, this technology makes a significant contribution to the human ecology of the entire process. Furthermore, by eliminating drying and condensation sections, energy consumption can be reduced by approximately 30% and space requirements by approximately 60%. Compared to conventional coating systems, maintenance and setup costs are significantly lower.
The very compact design of the system allows for optimized personnel deployment and also enables the economical production of very small batch sizes.
