  • Coating: Precise application of slurry (catalyst ink) using a wide slot nozzle (up to AAAA standard possible), comma bar or squeegee chambers. Flexible tandem or single coating on copper or aluminium carrier foils. Comprehensive quality assurance (web running, coverage, surface/edge inspection). Our systems are complete solutions including winding/unwinding systems and web cleaning.
  • Calendering: Compression of electrode foils to increase energy density. Uniform line pressure, precise web tension control, contactless web cleaning and integrated inspection. Aumann concept for uniform line force and flexibility with variable widths/forces.
  • Slitting: Precise longitudinal cutting of calendered electrode rolls into narrower strips using rotating blades.
  • Precise web edge control and constant web tension monitoring ensure maximum precision.
